ERMS Login Upgrade and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

We are preparing to upgrade the ERMS login system to a more secure and modern authentication platform used across the health sector. 

This upgrade improves security and protects patient information.  

It follows guidance from Health New Zealand and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner and provides:  

  • Stronger protection against unauthorised access 
  • Modern authentication standards used across the health sector 
  • Support for future enhancements, including MFA and improved identity management 
  • Better resilience against phishing, credential theft, and cybersecurity threats. 

ERMS Login Guides and Instructions

Pegasus Health, CDHB and WCDHB users

This applies to users with a Microsoft work account from Pegasus Health, CDHB or WCDHB.

These organisations are approved Microsoft‑authenticated providers.

All other users with Login ID – erms.health.nz

This applies to ERMS users who do not use a Pegasus Health or CDHB/WCDHB Microsoft account.

Your login username ends with erms.health.nz
